Disclaimer & Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 October 2026

By using Engine-X (engx3d.com), including the 3D Atlas, machine guides and the Engine-X Blog, you agree to these terms.

Educational purpose only

Everything on Engine-X is published to explain how machines work, for learning and general information. It is not professional engineering advice, a design specification, or a replacement for manufacturers' manuals, applicable codes and standards, or the judgement of a qualified engineer.

Before you design, install, operate, test or repair any equipment, follow the manufacturer's instructions, the relevant standards and your site's safety rules. Work on pressurised, rotating or electrical equipment must be done only by trained, authorised people with the equipment isolated.

Accuracy

We research every article from the sources listed at the end of it and work to keep figures correct. Technology, standards and products change, and mistakes can happen, so we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete, current or error-free. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will correct it.

3D models

The 3D machines in the Atlas are simplified, illustrative models created for teaching. Their dimensions, materials and behaviour are representative, not exact copies of any specific manufacturer's product, and must not be used for manufacturing or design.

Limitation of liability

Engine-X and Parth Parmar are not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the use of, or reliance on, information or models on this website. You use the content at your own risk.

Advertising and external links

Engine-X may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are chosen by the advertising network, and showing an ad does not mean we endorse the product or company. Links to other websites are provided for reference only; we are not responsible for their content. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
